How It Works
Foster and kinship caregivers in Alberta may be eligible for respite support through Children and Family Services, depending on their individual agreement and caseworker approval. This support is intended to help caregivers take the breaks they need to continue providing stable care.
Respite Edmonton is a qualified agency and Qualified Service Provider for approved services and regions. Confirm with your caseworker which services and hours are approved for the child in your care.
The authorization, billing and payment process depends on the caregiver's service arrangement. We confirm the applicable process, rates and documentation before services begin.
