PDD-Funded Service Providers
Respite Edmonton is a private respite service, not a PDD-contracted agency. If your family member's supports are coordinated through a PDD-funded service provider, you may wish to confirm whether private respite services can be included in your arrangement.
Family Managed Supports (FMS)
As an FMS Administrator, you manage the budget and hire support workers directly. Respite Edmonton works closely with FMS families to provide workers, scheduling, and any documentation your agreement requires.
Private Pay
We also welcome private-pay families who prefer direct payment. Respite care starting from $30/hour — your exact rate is confirmed at your free assessment.
Continuity Into Adulthood
One of the benefits of working with Respite Edmonton is that we support families from early childhood through adulthood. There is no need to switch respite services when your child turns 18. We help with the transition from FSCD to PDD and make sure care continues without interruption.
