Ways Adult Support Can Be Arranged
Respite Edmonton is a qualified agency and Qualified Service Provider for approved services and regions.
Agency-Managed PDD: Where supports are coordinated through a PDD service arrangement, eligible individuals may be able to receive approved services from Respite Edmonton. Confirm which services and hours are authorized in the approved plan.
Family Managed Services: A family member administers the approved budget and arranges support workers. Respite Edmonton works closely with these families to provide screened workers, scheduling and service records.
Private arrangement: Families without a funding program can arrange services privately. Your exact rate is confirmed after we review support needs and scheduling requirements.

AISH: Many adults use their AISH income toward respite and support services. Funds belong to the individual to direct as they choose.
AHS Self-Managed Care: Clients assessed by AHS Home Care who receive funds to arrange their own care may use them toward our services. Please confirm eligibility and approved uses with your case manager before booking.
CDHCI: The Client-Directed Home Care Invoicing program has its own provider requirements. Confirm with your AHS case manager whether our services can be used under this program.
